About

In today’s world, access to credible, relevant and objective information is critical to personal and community development. Although locating information is easier than at any time in history, individuals often do not have the resources available to them.

When the Cazenovia Library was added to the closing list in 2005, our community knew this facility could remain a vital and vibrant part of South Buffalo. We were right. With their encouragement and support, I have made the center a priority for our children and the patrons who utilize its essential services.

The community has embraced the Cazenovia Community Resource Center; we now have over 1,400 unique registered patrons, a number that grows daily, and, as our services have expanded, has demonstrated their loyalty and willingness to grow with us. Our average monthly attendance during our first full year was 512 patrons. This year, only our fourth year in the capacity, we are averaging over 950 patrons each month. That is an amazing 185% growth in less than 4 years!

We continue to identify the needs of our community, and through innovation and creativity, we are meeting these needs. Through parnterships with prominent community organizations and leveraging our resources, we strive each day to provide resources which may not be available to everyone.

We are extremely excited for the future here at Cazenovia Community Resource. We hope that you will be a part of it with us.

Sincerely,

Michael P. Kearns
South District Councilman
